Welcome to our practice. It is our pleasure to accompany you on this journey of self-awareness and healing. We are a group of clinicians who have continued to advance our professional backgrounds in the areas of trauma and present neuro-developmental science. We provide our clients with a unique approach aimed at exploring their individual experiences and how they have responded and coped with these experiences. Through our work together, we strive to shift the lens for our clients by providing a well informed and more compassionate perspective of why they may be struggling or pursuing answers for challenging areas in their life that have been impacted by trauma and adverse experiences.
We fully embrace and support the mind-body connection and view our clients ‘through a Polyvagal lens.’ In doing so, we understand that people respond to what goes on around them based on how their physiological stress response system experiences it. This stress response happens below consciousness and is dependent on previous experiences and other factors in the particular circumstances of the individual. Assisting our clients to develop an understanding of their own stress responses and how it impacts their overall functioning provides a framework for them to thrive and heal.
